Anthony Marmon Bio - Team Tufunga Training

My name is Anthony Waynne Marmon. I was born on July 21, 1969, I am originally from South San Francisco, currently reside in San Leandro, CA. I participated in many sports during my school days including football, wrestling and even boxing - as a "Golden Glove" at King’s Gym in Oakland CA. My trainer Charles King, It was not until after I graduated from high school that the sport of fitness first appeared on my radar screen.

I started training in the gym at the age of sixteen. At the age of seventeen, my older brother Gordon Kimbrough an upcoming National Ranked Heavy Weight bodybuilder formally introduced me to bodybuilding. At the age of eighteen I competed in my first teenage show called the AAU Northern California which I placed first and overall. My self-esteem lifted and I was very confident that if I trained even harder and dedicate myself to this sport I could become a professional bodybuilder. As my body matured along with the knowledge of bodybuilding my dear brother went to jail. I still needed help so I went to my brother's trainer Mr. Charles Glass. With his help I competed in the open mens middleweight division all over the United States I have been a competitor for well over 26 years. My love for the sport keeps me reminded of who I am today. I am a role model in the gym, home, and at work.
